Wawa employee hit with spicy chicken after drunk Florida Man Says Chicken Is Undercooked

An irate Florida man was detained for reportedly tossing a piece of hot chicken at a Wawa employee because his chicken was undercooked, according to authorities.

The employee stated that Daniel Palomino, 32, of St. Petersburg, flung a piece of chicken “covered in a spicy Nashville sauce that got into the victim’s eye,” according to crime reports obtained by The Smoking Gun. The event is said to have happened at 1:20 a.m. on Sunday.

According to court records, Palomino became enraged because “he believed [the chicken] was not completely cooked.” Then he challenged the staffer, “and responded by throwing the chicken on the victim.”

Despite the fact that the chicken was allegedly slathered in hot sauce, the employee did not sustain any bodily harm, according to authorities.

Palomino was arrested on a misdemeanor violence charge Sunday morning and hauled to the county prison before being released on $500 bail later that day. When approached, he was visibly under the influence of alcohol, according to police. According to authorities, Palomino lives roughly a mile away from the Wawa.

According to court documents, Palomino was previously convicted of cocaine possession, aggravated assault, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief, marijuana possession, and probation violation.
