Carnival Cruise Passengers Injured

In a recent and unfortunate event at the Port of Galveston, Texas, several passengers of the Carnival Cruise Line sustained injuries due to an automobile accident. This mishap occurred at Cruise Terminal 28 on a Saturday morning, resulting in four pedestrians being struck by a private vehicle and subsequently hospitalized. The Port of Galveston Police Department has taken up the investigation of this incident.

The victims were part of a family of six, just returning from a six-day Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Dream ship. This cruise included stops in Costa Maya, Cozumel, Mexico, and Roatan, Honduras, and commenced on November 26.

Two injured guests required admission to the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital for observation but were expected to be discharged soon. In response to this incident, Carnival Cruise Line’s Care Team extended their support to the affected family by assisting with hotel arrangements and other necessary support​.
