NYC police escort Alec Baldwin after heated incident at pro-Palestinian demonstration

On Monday, actor Alec Baldwin attended a pro-Palestinian march in New York City and was seen getting into a violent argument with a protester, which ended with the star being carried away by police.

It’s unclear why Baldwin was in the neighborhood or what triggered the altercation during the Manhattan protest.

The encounter was captured on video, and it shows the 65-year-old actor speaking to two or three demonstrators with a solemn expression on his face.

At one moment, he tells a demonstrator, “That’s my business.” That is my concern.

“You work for Hollywood, do you condemn Israel?” a protester asks Baldwin.

“You’ve already made your decision… “Every question you have, right?” Baldwin responded. “You say I’m in Hollywood’s pockets?” You ask ridiculous questions. Ask me a clever question! As he shoved his body into the demonstrator, he exclaimed, “Ask a smart question!”

Following that, numerous police officers surrounded Baldwin and led him away from the throng.

The demonstrator said, “Go f— yourself” and, “Why did you even come here?” As he was led away, Baldwin appeared to cry back, “Shut the f— up!”

Requests for comment on the incident were not answered by a spokesman for Baldwin or the New York City Police Department.
