Mom of two clashed with husband about drinking before jumping from fancy NYC skyscraper roof, claims sources

According to reports, the woman who jumped from a luxury Upper East Side apartment building on Thursday had a huge quarrel with her husband just seconds before she made the fatal leap — yet the “devastated” husband claimed “he wasn’t even home.”

According to police enforcement officials, Alina Page, 35, jumped from the roof of The Brittany on the 36th floor after her spouse confronted her about her drinking habits.

Her husband, Brian Page, said he wasn’t present when the tragedy occurred but declined to comment on whether there was an argument.

“She was the love of my life, my soulmate,” the bereaved husband told The Washington Post. “I am devastated.”

Around 6:45 p.m., the mother of two was discovered with injuries consistent with a fall near the junction of York Avenue and East 92nd Street. Page was airlifted to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell in serious condition, but she died as a result of her injuries.

She lived in the posh building, which had a special shuttle to the subway every 30 minutes, with her “big family,” according to various sources.

Page, who was born in Russia, routinely shared photos on Facebook of herself smiling from ear to ear with her two small children.

She and her husband were only 11 days away from their 16th wedding anniversary.

Although police have not officially categorized Page’s fall as a suicide, residents told The Washington Post that the building has exceptional safety precautions in place to avoid an accidental fall.

“The railing is quite tall… “I’d say at least four feet,” one renter stated of the roof.

“[The windows] will not open. They split. They are all child-friendly. My little cats would not be able to fit through. So she didn’t.

“I’m just thankful I didn’t see it.” It’s a very family-friendly structure.”

The Brittany, located just a few streets from Gracie Mansion, is a posh apartment building with “incredible, panoramic water views” of the East and Harlem rivers.

According to StreetEasy, a two-bedroom, the two-bathroom unit might cost roughly $7,500.
