Malique Tyrone Outland, age 18, from Northwest, District of Columbia was taken into custody by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) after a search warrant was executed in the 2000 block of 1st Street Northwest.
The Metropolitan Police Department stated that the warrant was issued in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred on September 3 in the Northwest, District of Columbia.
Outland was also charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle and unlawful entrance, in addition to having probable cause for six armed robberies, nine armed carjackings, one assault with a dangerous weapon, two auto thefts, and one assault with a weapon. It was stated that he was accused of a total of twenty acts of violent crime.
