Hudson Gateway REALTOR Foundation presents Hillside Food Pantry with $2,000 donation

WHITE STRIPE The charitable arm of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS, the Hudson Gateway REALTOR Foundation, recently gave the Elmsford and Mount Kisco-based Hillside Food Pantry a $2,000 check.

Established in 1997, the Hillside Food Outreach is a food pantry that specializes in food delivery alone. It offers low-income, aged, or disabled people and families in Westchester, Putnam, and Fairfield counties, Connecticut, wholesome, wholesome foods, basics, and necessities.

More than 300 volunteers make up their team, and they are educated to recognize possible emotional, medical, or dietary problems in addition to connecting and interacting with clients to develop relationships. Each month, 1291 people and 582 houses are served by the pantry.

CEO and founder of Hillside Food Outreach Kathy Purdy expressed her gratitude to the Hudson Gateway REALTOR Foundation for helping them help their neighbors in need.

The Hudson Gateway Realtor Foundation has given the Hudson Valley’s nonprofits and charities hundreds of thousands of dollars since 2014. The Hudson Gateway REALTOR Foundation supports eligible community-based organizations that address the housing, hunger, health, happiness, and humanitarian needs of people everywhere because we care about the communities in which we operate.
