The Town of Greenville According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, a 63-year-old man from Town of Greenville was charged with attempted murder along with other offenses after he allegedly shot a 32-year-old lady, wounding her in the pelvic area.
On Sunday, the incident happened at approximately 6:15 p.m. She was airlifted to Albany Medical Center after deputies used a tourniquet on her and transported her to a landing zone in a patrol car.
According to the authorities, the victim had emergency surgery and is now in stable condition.
Sean Davis, the suspect, was additionally accused with assault and illegal use of a handgun.
There may be further charges, according to the officials.
Without posting bail, Davis was returned to the Greene County Jail.
The State Police, Greene County Emergency Services, Greenville Ambulance, Greene County District Attorney’s Office, LifeNet, and Greene County Paramedics all provided support to the sheriff’s office.
