GA Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene: "They Should Be Forced To Live By Their Own Rules"

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia is stirring things up in Washington, stating unequivocally that she will not accept the status quo in 2024. Her principal objective? President Joe Biden and her perception of a border crisis mishandled.

Greene stated her intention to expand Biden’s impeachment investigation to include the serious challenges at the southern border in an exclusive interview with Just the News. Unconcerned about the potential backlash, she highlighted the need to hold the government accountable for what she sees as a failure to enforce immigration rules.

Greene’s proactive approach goes beyond words, as she detailed a number of actions she intends to conduct in the coming year. Greene has filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Eric Swalwell, a Democrat from California, for his participation in Hunter Biden’s press conference, which he alleges violated a subpoena in the impeachment investigation.

Greene also plans to introduce privileged motions on a regular basis, forcing votes on the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas if the House Homeland Security Chairman does not act quickly. She conveyed her displeasure in a firm tone, calling the failure to impeach Mayorkas “outrageous.”

When sharing her disappointment with other Republicans, the Georgia representative didn’t hold back. She attacked House Speaker Mike Johnson’s recent adoption of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), highlighting what she sees as a failure to address crucial problems such as FISA reform and the size/cost of government.

Greene highlighted her displeasure with the NDAA in a harsh review, highlighting the extension of FISA surveillance rules without reforms and the exclusion of a proposed 30% wage boost for junior military soldiers. Her annoyance had reached a boiling point, prompting her to declare, “I’m purely disgusted with my conference.”

Greene did not stop there, recommending that he file an ethics complaint against Swalwell for his role in assisting Hunter Biden’s escape from a subpoena. She bemoaned the absence of a legitimate Department of Justice, alleging that it had become “politicized and weaponized.”

Greene intends to be a force to be reckoned with in the coming year, shamelessly challenging her Republican colleagues to meet their 2022 promises and take a stand on topics important to their voters. It remains to be seen whether her rigorous approach will bring results, but one thing is certain: Marjorie Taylor Greene is not holding back.
