Texas Attorney General Accuses Pfizer

Attorney General Ken Paxton of Texas has sued Pfizer, Inc. for illegally lying about how well its COVID-19 vaccine worked and trying to stop people from talking about it publicly. Pfizer violated the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act by making unsubstantiated claims about its COVID-19 vaccinations that were false, misleading, and deceptive.

Many people were led astray when the drug company said that its vaccine was 95% effective against illness. That number showed how much the so-called “relative risk reduction” for vaccinated people was calculated in Pfizer’s first two-month clinical study results. “Relative risk reduction” is a misleading statistic that “unduly influences” customer choice, according to FDA documents.

At that time, Pfizer was also told that vaccine immunity could not be predicted with certainty for more than two months. Even so, Pfizer gave the public the false idea that vaccines provided long-lasting protection and kept information from the public that contradicted its claims about the length of protection. And even though the vaccine’s clinical study didn’t show that it stops the disease from spreading, Pfizer started a campaign to scare people into getting the vaccine to protect their loved ones.

Pfizer’s offering did not live up to what the company said it would do. More people got vaccinated against COVID-19, and in some places, more people who got vaccinated than people who didn’t get vaccinated died from COVID-19. When it was clear that its product wasn’t working, Pfizer changed its strategy to silence people who were telling the truth.

In this case, it is asked, “What did Pfizer do when it became clear that its vaccine wasn’t working and the company’s cash cow was in danger?” By trying to scare people into telling the truth and by working together to censor its enemies. People who told the truth about the vaccine were called “criminals” by Pfizer. It said that they were sharing “false information.” And it forced social media sites to shut down well-known truth-tellers.

“We are seeking justice for the people of Texas,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Many of them were forced by tyrannical vaccine mandates to take a defective product sold by lies.” “It’s clear what happened. Regarding their COVID-19 medicines, Pfizer lied. The Biden administration used the pandemic as a weapon to make people follow illegal public health rules and make money for drug companies. I’ll do everything I can to defend the people deceived and injured by Pfizer’s actions. Attorney General Paxton announced earlier this year that he would look into Pfizer and other vaccine makers. This case comes after that.
