Actor Johnny Wactor Dies in Tragic Los Angeles Shooting

According to his family on Sunday, Johnny Wactor, a former cast member of the popular American television series “General Hospital,” was shot and died in Los Angeles after he confronted robbers attempting to take the catalytic converter out of his vehicle.

The victim approached three men in downtown Los Angeles at around three in the morning on Saturday, when the shooting happened, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

His mother, Scarlett Wactor, told that her 37-year-old son assumed his car was being towed when he noticed someone at it after leaving work with a coworker at a rooftop club.

His mother said that a guy wearing a mask started shooting.

According to authorities, three individuals left the area in a car. After being taken to the hospital, Wactor passed away. As of late Sunday, no arrests had been made. The actor was described as “a real moral example to everyone who knew him” by Wactor’s agent, David Shaul.
